Alexandra Villecco

Alexandra earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Sage Graduate School in Troy, NY. Prior to earning her doctorate, she graduated from State University of New York at Oneonta with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and a minor in Personal Training.

Alexandra specializes in pediatric neuroscience, gait mechanics, developmental milestones and primitive reflexes, and implementing “play” into therapeutic activities. She is passionate about working with the pediatric population and delivering effective therapy in a fun and enjoyable manner. Her best piece of advice for patients and families is, “Rehab requires hard work and patience and it is a continuous journey. Make sure to take moments to pull yourself back and take in the happiness and joy that your child shows and live in those moments with them.”

Along with her husband, Joe, Alexandrea lives in Cary and loves the country-feel of the city with all the trees and foliage, while still having everything needed within a 10 minute drive. When she’s not in the clinic she loves spending time doing DIY projects, practicing yoga, hiking and participating in other outdoor activities. Her favorite quote is, “The journey of 1,000 miles begins with the first step,” and anything from Dr. Seuss.
