Cailey Easdale

Cailey earned her Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from Kettering College in Dayton, Ohio. Prior to this, she completed her undergraduate degree in Family Science at Towson University in Towson, Maryland, where she also played collegiate tennis.

While in school, Cailey spent a clinical rotation in a geriatric memory care unit, implementing a program based off of the Allen Cognitive Disabilities Model to increase participation in self-care and leisure activities for residents with dementia. She enjoys working with children and takes special interest in sensory integration in pediatrics. She loves that BreakThrough provides a safe environment, allowing children an opportunity to build on the skills required to achieve their goals and grow and play without feeling judged or criticized. Her best advice to her patients is to never give up on their dreams and that hard work, persistence, and heart will take them far.

Cailey is originally from Ohio, but currently lives in Raleigh. In her spare time, she enjoys attending yoga classes and playing tennis. She loves making a positive impact on others’ lives and lives by Henry Ford’s quote, “Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re right.“
