    Kenny is the Clinic Manager at the Cary – Amberly location.

    Kenny graduated from The Medical University of South Carolina in 2008, where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). Prior to MUSC, he graduated from UNC Wilmington in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education. Kenny is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Specialist, which approximately 6% of physical therapists in the United States hold.

    Continuing in his education, Kenny has obtained certifications in ASTYM, Blood Flow Restriction Training, and as a Mulligan Practitioner, and has completed numerous manual therapy courses through Evidence In Motion, Maitland, the International Spine & Pain Institute, and utilizes Trigger Point Dry Needling. These techniques are proven to help with a variety of orthopaedic injuries and with the management of acute and chronic pain. Kenny specializes in sports medicine and athletic injuries, sports performance, postoperative therapy needs, spine and hip conditions, and neurological injuries and disorders. His passion is getting to know his patients and helping them exceed their goals, be it sports-related or everyday functioning.

    Kenny is a native of Greenville, North Carolina. He is a former collegiate baseball player. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, as well as being at the beach, running, and playing golf. He enjoys watching college sports and is an avid Georgia Bulldogs and Tar Heels fan.

    Ellie graduated from the University of Mount Olive with a degree in Exercise Science and has been working as a health and wellness coach for the past 3 years. She played soccer at the collegiate level for 4 years and through that experience, she was able to grow her already strong passion for health and wellness.

    Ellie has been providing personal training to clients at the YMCA and also leads large groups of people with diverse fitness levels at Burn Boot Camp as a group fitness trainer. She works with people of all ages to develop a safe and effective training program that keeps people interested, while working to achieve their health and wellness goals. She is patient and uses her experience and education to challenge her clients, “just the right amount” during their sessions. Ellie is developing as an emerging professional, building upon and strengthening her current skills and knowledge. She strives to experience and explore a variety of roles, tasks, and responsibilities.

    Ellie’s long-term professional goals include attending Physical Therapy school and positively impacting the lives of those she works with. She loves working with people and finds purpose in assisting them to reach their full potential in health and wellness.
